Mercury Retrograde Within Aries: Inner Warrior + Pioneer + Explorer...

Mercury began it's pre-Rx (retrograde) Shadow timing March 9th beginning at 04 degrees of Aries 52' journeying forward, or Direct, until 16 degrees of Aries 55' when Mercury Stationed Retrograde (SRx) as of March 23rd.

Now Mercury is Rx moving BACK along the degrees and minutes of Aries it had already traveled forward through early March. I love Mercury Rx - it means a chance for do-overs regarding:

• Decisions
• Conversations
• Thoughts
• Self-Talk
• Networking
• What I want to learn more about...

Mercury Rx also brings forth the following:

• Information I didn't Know I Needed to Know!
• Ability to troubleshoot decisions/learning curves that were previous mental blockages, with ease and grace! Thinking outside the box, via right-brain creative intuitive flow works really well now.
• Organizing: closets/drawers/desktops/garages, Inboxes (physically/virtually), Self, etc. How about the boxes and piles of Genealogy?
• People from our Past: to reconnect, finish up unfinished business, resolve issues, whatever needs to be talked about, thought about, completed.
• Unexpected Changes to Plans...and if these plans are long-term (i.e. building/selling/buying a house) expect first intentions to change along the way...and double-/triple-check all the details!
• Communication/local travel devices/machines: can show you HOW they're no longer working properly in your world during these Rx timings - cars, phones, computers - Information I Didn't Know I Needed to Know....just saying...

Within the cardinal fire sign of ARIES: Mercury, our communication/thought processes/what do I want to learn/say/think about? here in cardinal fire - to INITIATE something NEW with INSPIRed Creativity (In Spirit = INSPIRed) - how is Mercury Rx bringing forth inspired ACTION into your brain/mind these days?

Aries, ruled by Mars, brings forth the need to MOVE your physical body, via instinctual action - leaps of faith - and willing to be the Inner Warrior you always have been (!) looking to Pioneer something NEW in your life, ready to EXPLORE new Inner Avenues of You along the way as you take whatever mental risk at this time! BAH! LOL!

Take out your journal or Goal Sheets and write down all the seemingly crazy ideas that are pouring forth with this lovely sunshine we're experiencing today (despite -16 degree windchill temps here in Alberta!) and move yourself forward, while Mercury moves backward, to bring forth much-needed CHANGE within your Life!

Mercury continues to move backward towards 04 degrees of Aries until April 15th when it Stations Direct (SD) to, once again, travel forward again. Then we'll experience the post-Rx Shadow timing as Mercury regains his March 23rd position of almost 17 degrees of Aries by May 3rd! Rx planets bring their energy Within, personalizing and sensitizing our self-awareness; Direct planets bring their energy Without, for us to Take Action out in the world after spending time Within 'seeing' the awareness we were asleep with before now. Take advantage of this personalized Mental Body timing to mentally 'see' what NEW strides you can make for yourself in 2018!

Twice in a Blue Moon: Full Moon in Libra

Hi Everyone! Today we have a second Blue Moon (Full Moon) event within a calendar month this year of 2018! Cool!

March 31st, 2018 -22 windchill snowy morning!

2018 began with a Full Moon within the cardinal water sign of Cancer (perhaps why we're all experiencing so much MORE snow/rain in 2018?! Record-breaking snowfalls for us here in Southern Alberta since 1958!) and ended with a Full Moon/Total Lunar Eclipse January 31st within the fixed fire sign of Leo - shining our individual Light of Creativity out into the world.

March began with a Full Moon within the mutable earth sign of Virgo - going with the flow of how we each wish to Be of Service out in the world - perfecting processes, organizing our respective worlds along the way....

Now, today, March 31st, within this Easter long-weekend, as of 6:37 a.m. MDT at 10 degrees of Libra 45', we bring forth ILLUMINATION within the cardinal air sign of Libra: re-balancing that which has been out of balance. Where in your birth chart does Libra reside? Here is where the re-balance is activated by the Moon's Light (our Emotional Body), reflecting the Unconscious Desires of the Sun (Soul/vital self).

Each Full Moon brings forth ILLUMINATION: AHA moments of awareness as to what we've each been searching for, in the Dark, that has now been brought into the Light, from Within, to face, embrace, heal (if need be) and either integrated into a new daily habit, and/or let go of as an old bad habit. All since New Moon which began March 17th within the mutable water sign of Pisces - going with the flow Within your need to Be of Service beyond your Ego-self - connecting MORE through your Spiritual-Self.

Today's Full Moon in Libra brings forth balance - however momentary it seems. Like a flash of lightning - cuts through the mental chaos to clarify certainty with heartfelt intention for Next Steps.

We want to RELATE with an Other at this time. We want equal face-time to air whatever is on our minds and in our heart of hearts. Interestingly, those of us living in North America, within this Mercury Rx through Aries (Inner Warrior/Pioneer/Explorer) timing have also been navigating the income taxes, connecting with our accountants and/or doing our taxes online ourselves (more the latter, as Aries is all about independence?). What "Information You Didn't Know You Needed to Know" came to you since March 9 re taxes?

Hence the reality of legalities of this Full Moon in Libra: which side of the right/wrong coin are you residing? Integrity is what Pluto has been transforming within the cardinal earth sign of Capricorn since 2007! There is 6 years more of this transformation - wonder what we'll learn/see forever changed? Our monetary system? Look back and remember ALL the public figures who have been felled due to their lack of integrity business practices! Adding to the mix has been Jupiter moving through Scorpio (since October) opening up many Pandora boxes of long-held secrets, lies and deception.

Full Moon in Virgo: Let Go of Old Patterns of Conditioning!

This Full Moon, along with MORE SNOW FLURRIES here in southern Alberta (was that my outside voice?!) brought forth a deeper feeling of cabin fever AND "let's get to work to unearth old patterns of conditioning"!

March 1st, Thursday, at 5:51p MST the Moon sat opposite the Sun at 11 degrees of Virgo/Pisces 23', respectively, heralding the Full Moon phase during which something is ILLUMINATED within our lives. Something that was hidden in the dark before now that we were unaware of, relating to Self and how we wish to Serve.

Virgo is our mutable earth sign, flowing with change, creating change, physically and hands-on, yet also mentally - Virgo is ruled by our planet Mercury, all about how we think, use our brain power, learn, adapt mentally, communicate and it's our Self Talk! How we speak, internally, with/to ourselves.

The Full Moon's Virgo themes ILLUMINATED any, or all, of the following:

• HOW we wish to BE of Service out in the world via our daily work - IS it working for us, this job we're in right now? If not, why not? What are your next steps in this area of life? Our willingness to ADAPT to new service, knowing when it's time to leave a job or change a routine - this is Inner Wisdom of Service at its best.
• HOW we are looking after the health of our physical body - our diet, exercise program, healing needs, eating regimens - all are being examined now.
• PERFECTIONISM - be it processes within Self, at work, in the home/personal life - wherever Virgo resides in your birth chart is where this theme activates within your life to bring forth self-awareness. 
• Judgement / Critical Voice: here is where we judge others and self with our petty criticisms because the Ego-self is looking for Perfection! If we feel out of whack from Within, and don't take the time to check in with how we feel/think at the moment, then the Ego-self will go out of its way to blame others around us for making us feel, well, out of whack! No one has that power, however. Each person is in charge of HOW they feel, when they feel, and what they do with those feelings. Unacknowledged feelings don't go away - they recede, go into hiding, only to come flying out, unexpectedly, later when we least expect it. And the blaming, criticism and transference comes out to play again, and again, and again. Unless we stop, check Within to FEEL how we feel! Then THINK about how you're feeling, then feel, then think, and see what gems you become consciously aware of, from Within You. It all begins with you. WORRY is at play here too - not listening to your opposite sign, Pisces (where the Sun sits right now) of feelings, intuition, intuitive INsights - to have faith, believe IN your or someone's abilities, that this too shall pass - what ever THIS is. Worry creates blockages too, comes from fear, and therefore that Ego-self bringing forth illusory rabbit holes of self-sabotage.
• Organization: How and when we organize ourselves, life, home. From the physical to the spiritual. I find myself, when I've completed some Inner Space work emotionally and/or mentally and/or spiritually, physically shifting furniture or finding new ways to file away paperwork, finally DO the paperwork (!) or other To Dos that seemed completely an uphill battle to accomplish prior to that Inner Space work. Interesting how not doing the Inner Space work can block us from moving forward on something, just as easily as a physical blockage can!
• Discernment: here we use clear discrimination or critical thought to also clear blockages, move forward into whatever project or task needs organizing. Ruled by Mercury, this makes sense. We need the focus and at times, do analysis via those Pros/Cons lists/research to arrive at that which makes better sense before we take further action.
• Perfectionism: I want to address this again - here we USE perfectionism to bring order out of chaos - something I do quite naturally (and how I make my living, other than Astrology). Here these innate skills to ORGANIZE a space, event, people, paper, things - this is a positive use of Virgo's tendency to BE perfect! I have Virgo Rising, completely within my 1st House, therefore it is not only part of my outward personality, how I dress and present myself to others, it is also what I EMBODY (1st House is of the physical body). Therefore, whenever I am in a room I can physically FEEL when a physical thing is out of order or needs to be moved. I cannot settle down to concentrate unless I DO the physical thing to create order. Then my focus comes back to where I need it to be. Cool! How we do our processes at home/work - housework, homework, paperwork - whatever WORK process you are involved with - THIS is where we bring forth the innovation of perfecting HOW we do those processes. We can spend years doing the same old, same old habit/way of WORK, then one day, BHAM! we see our way through to a totally different, more efficient way! Cool! As in during a Full Moon in Virgo.
• PHYSICALLY: Virgo rules the following physical places in our bodies - bowels and intestines, constipation and diarrhea, digestion and assimilation, our Solar Plexus chakra (Empowerment vs power and control issues). Here during a Full Moon in Virgo our awareness will become more conscious of these areas - how well they are working Within the physical body. Is it time to increase veggie intake? Do a cleanse? See a doctor for a physical? If you are having issues  "digesting" something emotionally and/or mentally will affect your digestive system. As Within, So Without.

Looking at the event chart for this Full Moon in Virgo, I see the following planets/Nodes assisting us with the themes mentioned above:

• The Full Moon in Virgo sits opposite the Sun in Pisces: the opposite sign to each other - and with the Sun is Juno (equality in relationships) + the Part of Fortune (where we find our Joy) + Neptune, ruler of Pisces (the Magic, Movies & Illusion of Earth School - are we dealing with illusion or reality? Escaping reality via our addictions/distractions? Belief in the MAGIC of feelings, intuition, and INsights as markers we're on the right path forward, in the NOW) + Mercury, ruler of Virgo (communication, thought, learning) + Venus (our Desire Body - what are my desires?) + Chiron (Spiritual Wound we carry to be healed this lifetime) - all in Pisces! Of the water signs, Pisces represents the nebulous, numinous, fog/mists - that which we cannot quite see or touch, yet we know is THERE. Hence our connection to our Spiritual Self/Higher Self/God/Great Spirit - whomever you believe to be a guiding force in your life. These 6 planets/places bring forth a conscious awareness of your Spiritual practices - the Full Moon reflects back the unconscious desires of the Soul (Sun). What intuitive INsights, feelings and thoughts are you receiving this Full Moon? How are you connecting with your opposite sign?
• The Full Moon in Virgo + South Node Rx with Vertex in Aquarius: here is where we're all 'letting go of old patterns of conditioning" in some regard. The South Node points to unresolved issues from our past/past lives and the Vertex denotes Fated/Destined connections, circumstances, experiences. What has caused Old Stuff to come up for you, that you thought you'd dealt with, butting up against your ability to BE your True Authentic Self (Aquarius)? This Full Moon brings forth those situations/people/circumstances once again! Being Rx (retrograde) makes this South Node extra sensitive as in PERSONAL. You cannot run away and hide from it - no matter how hard you try!
• Jupiter in Scorpio is in a love connection to Mercury + Venus + Chiron in Pisces: here we are being expanded and moved beyond current limitations/constrictions and boundaries (Jupiter) past those deeply buried fears (Scorpio) to be HEALED (Chiron) to bring forth our true DESIRES (Venus) and CHANGE our MINDSET (Mercury) through our Spiritual practices. Mental fears, emotional fears, spiritual fears - all of these can be coming forth, in full force, to be loved, healed and let go of. How? Acknowledge the fears, the feelings, the needs. Walk through the emotions, thoughts and find Inner Peace - that Inner Wisdom/you.
• The Full Moon in Virgo in a love connection to both Saturn in Capricorn and Pallas in Taurus: here the earth signs bring forth grounding, practical solutions and hands-on tactile tasks to move through, create and bring forth goals, responsibilities, wisdom and BE in touch with Mother Earth. Despite the snow!
• Jupiter in Scorpio + Uranus and Eris in Aries: another area where we're "letting go of old patterns of conditioning" this Moon cycle. Scorpio is the ICE water sign, and Aries brings forth instinctual heat/action. Scorpio can be our fears frozen in Time and Space; Aries wants to move and break free of restrictions/bindings from the past - to initiate the Inner Explorer, Pioneer and BE independent. Uranus brings forth Unexpected Change and holds hands with Mars' sister, Eris, to assert self into action that may re-balance your Inner Feminine/Masculine energy centres so there will be a more even mix of the two Within! More centred, whole and in line.

Something that was hidden in the dark before now that we were unaware of, relating to Self and how we wish to Serve.

Virgo is our mutable earth sign, flowing with change, creating change, physically and hands-on, yet also mentally - Virgo is ruled by our planet Mercury, all about how we think, use our brain power, learn, adapt mentally, communicate and it's our Self Talk! How we speak, internally, with/to ourselves.

The Full Moon's Virgo themes ILLUMINATED any, or all, of the following:

• HOW we wish to BE of Service out in the world via our daily work - IS it working for us, this job we're in right now? If not, why not? What are your next steps in this area of life? Our willingness to ADAPT to new service, knowing when it's time to leave a job or change a routine - this is Inner Wisdom of Service at its best.
• HOW we are looking after the health of our physical body - our diet, exercise program, healing needs, eating regimens - all are being examined now.
• PERFECTIONISM - be it processes within Self, at work, in the home/personal life - wherever Virgo resides in your birth chart is where this theme activates within your life to bring forth self-awareness. 
• Judgement / Critical Voice: here is where we judge others and self with our petty criticisms because the Ego-self is looking for Perfection! If we feel out of whack from Within, and don't take the time to check in with how we feel/think at the moment, then the Ego-self will go out of its way to blame others around us for making us feel, well, out of whack! No one has that power, however. Each person is in charge of HOW they feel, when they feel, and what they do with those feelings. Unacknowledged feelings don't go away - they recede, go into hiding, only to come flying out, unexpectedly, later when we least expect it. And the blaming, criticism and transference comes out to play again, and again, and again. Unless we stop, check Within to FEEL how we feel! Then THINK about how you're feeling, then feel, then think, and see what gems you become consciously aware of, from Within You. It all begins with you. WORRY is at play here too - not listening to your opposite sign, Pisces (where the Sun sits right now) of feelings, intuition, intuitive INsights - to have faith, believe IN your or someone's abilities, that this too shall pass - what ever THIS is. Worry creates blockages too, comes from fear, and therefore that Ego-self bringing forth illusory rabbit holes of self-sabotage.
• Organization: How and when we organize ourselves, life, home. From the physical to the spiritual. I find myself, when I've completed some Inner Space work emotionally and/or mentally and/or spiritually, physically shifting furniture or finding new ways to file away paperwork, finally DO the paperwork (!) or other To Dos that seemed completely an uphill battle to accomplish prior to that Inner Space work. Interesting how not doing the Inner Space work can block us from moving forward on something, just as easily as a physical blockage can!
• Discernment: here we use clear discrimination or critical thought to also clear blockages, move forward into whatever project or task needs organizing. Ruled by Mercury, this makes sense. We need the focus and at times, do analysis via those Pros/Cons lists/research to arrive at that which makes better sense before we take further action.
• Perfectionism: I want to address this again - here we USE perfectionism to bring order out of chaos - something I do quite naturally (and how I make my living, other than Astrology). Here these innate skills to ORGANIZE a space, event, people, paper, things - this is a positive use of Virgo's tendency to BE perfect! I have Virgo Rising, completely within my 1st House, therefore it is not only part of my outward personality, how I dress and present myself to others, it is also what I EMBODY (1st House is of the physical body). Therefore, whenever I am in a room I can physically FEEL when a physical thing is out of order or needs to be moved. I cannot settle down to concentrate unless I DO the physical thing to create order. Then my focus comes back to where I need it to be. Cool! How we do our processes at home/work - housework, homework, paperwork - whatever WORK process you are involved with - THIS is where we bring forth the innovation of perfecting HOW we do those processes. We can spend years doing the same old, same old habit/way of WORK, then one day, BHAM! we see our way through to a totally different, more efficient way! Cool! As in during a Full Moon in Virgo.
• PHYSICALLY: Virgo rules the following physical places in our bodies - bowels and intestines, constipation and diarrhea, digestion and assimilation, our Solar Plexus chakra (Empowerment vs power and control issues). Here during a Full Moon in Virgo our awareness will become more conscious of these areas - how well they are working Within the physical body. Is it time to increase veggie intake? Do a cleanse? See a doctor for a physical? If you are having issues  "digesting" something emotionally and/or mentally will affect your digestive system. As Within, So Without.

Looking at the event chart for this Full Moon in Virgo, I see the following planets/Nodes assisting us with the themes mentioned above:

• The Full Moon in Virgo sits opposite the Sun in Pisces: the opposite sign to each other - and with the Sun is Juno (equality in relationships) + the Part of Fortune (where we find our Joy) + Neptune, ruler of Pisces (the Magic, Movies & Illusion of Earth School - are we dealing with illusion or reality? Escaping reality via our addictions/distractions? Belief in the MAGIC of feelings, intuition, and INsights as markers we're on the right path forward, in the NOW) + Mercury, ruler of Virgo (communication, thought, learning) + Venus (our Desire Body - what are my desires?) + Chiron (Spiritual Wound we carry to be healed this lifetime) - all in Pisces! Of the water signs, Pisces represents the nebulous, numinous, fog/mists - that which we cannot quite see or touch, yet we know is THERE. Hence our connection to our Spiritual Self/Higher Self/God/Great Spirit - whomever you believe to be a guiding force in your life. These 6 planets/places bring forth a conscious awareness of your Spiritual practices - the Full Moon reflects back the unconscious desires of the Soul (Sun). What intuitive INsights, feelings and thoughts are you receiving this Full Moon? How are you connecting with your opposite sign?
• The Full Moon in Virgo + South Node Rx with Vertex in Aquarius: here is where we're all 'letting go of old patterns of conditioning" in some regard. The South Node points to unresolved issues from our past/past lives and the Vertex denotes Fated/Destined connections, circumstances, experiences. What has caused Old Stuff to come up for you, that you thought you'd dealt with, butting up against your ability to BE your True Authentic Self (Aquarius)? This Full Moon brings forth those situations/people/circumstances once again! Being Rx (retrograde) makes this South Node extra sensitive as in PERSONAL. You cannot run away and hide from it - no matter how hard you try!
• Jupiter in Scorpio is in a love connection to Mercury + Venus + Chiron in Pisces: here we are being expanded and moved beyond current limitations/constrictions and boundaries (Jupiter) past those deeply buried fears (Scorpio) to be HEALED (Chiron) to bring forth our true DESIRES (Venus) and CHANGE our MINDSET (Mercury) through our Spiritual practices. Mental fears, emotional fears, spiritual fears - all of these can be coming forth, in full force, to be loved, healed and let go of. How? Acknowledge the fears, the feelings, the needs. Walk through the emotions, thoughts and find Inner Peace - that Inner Wisdom/you.
• The Full Moon in Virgo in a love connection to both Saturn in Capricorn and Pallas in Taurus: here the earth signs bring forth grounding, practical solutions and hands-on tactile tasks to move through, create and bring forth goals, responsibilities, wisdom and BE in touch with Mother Earth. Despite the snow!
• Jupiter in Scorpio + Uranus and Eris in Aries: another area where we're "letting go of old patterns of conditioning" this Moon cycle. Scorpio is the ICE water sign, and Aries brings forth instinctual heat/action. Scorpio can be our fears frozen in Time and Space; Aries wants to move and break free of restrictions/bindings from the past - to initiate the Inner Explorer, Pioneer and BE independent. Uranus brings forth Unexpected Change and holds hands with Mars' sister, Eris, to assert self into action that may re-balance your Inner Feminine/Masculine energy centres so there will be a more even mix of the two Within! More centred, whole and in line.

New Moon in Virgo: Processes & Procrastination?

The next New Moon phase, beginning a new Moon cycle, begins Tuesday, September 19th at 11:30 p.m. MDT at the celestial coordinates of 27 degrees of Virgo 27'. Here we begin to process through our environments, our work space, and those untidy areas of the home (if you haven't already, considering the Sun entered Virgo back on August 22nd)! Each New Moon sees both the Moon and the Sun reside in the same place in the sky - hence why the Moon seems dark - the Sun's light outshines the Moon, making it seem to disappear from the night sky.

Virgo is ruled by Mercury, our planet of communication, learning, thought processes and logical relations with the world. Virgo wants order, rules and can go the nth degree to PERFECT everything and everyone around - including themselves! This is the extreme Shadow of Virgo. Otherwise, orderliness and setting processes in order, via the Emotional Body, will be the themes of this Moon cycle.

Looking at the chart for this New Moon cycle, I see Venus at 00 degrees of Virgo, followed by Mars at 09 degrees of Virgo, Mercury (now Direct! yay!) at 12 degrees of Virgo, and the Sun/Moon as New Moon at 27 degrees of Virgo. This lineup within Virgo brings:

• Venus - our Desire Body - begins a new cycle of how we perfect our heart's true Desires without killing ourselves! Jupiter traveled through Virgo from August 12, 2015 until September 11, 2016 expanding and making it quite LOUD how we either kept ourselves within strict boundaries of behaviour OR busted out of those restraints of old to find new processes (mind, office, home, you name it) to use that brought us closer to those Desires. Now Venus, that planet of love, peace, harmony, balance and beauty, brings a truer vibration to perfect WITH heart, rather than with Ego-mind. Heart vs. mind - can we create an AND here? Mix it up, create a good connection between what the Heart Desires and the Ego-Mind wishes to control?
• Mars - our Action Body - here we take mindful action, keeping tabs on what's worked in the past and what has not. Just because everyone else is doing it, whatever IT is, doesn't mean IT will work for you! Discernment is required here. Think before leaping, yet don't overthink that you miss an opportunity that could bring you closer to those Desires. Mars can mean impatience, wanting to 'get going, eh?' now! Here's where Venus can help with some balance, ease and grace.
• Mercury - our Thought Body - yes! Ruler of Virgo coming full-tilt in a Direct motion after all that Rx (Retrograde) nonsense (!) from July 25th until, well, today's New Moon! Each Mercury Rx timing gives us all a chance to have a rethink, redo, reschedule, and re-organization to come out with, most likely, a totally different direction to mindfully go into. Am I correct? It certainly has for me! Interestingly, Virgo rules the 6th House of daily work + the health of the physical body. Perhaps all those interesting ideas Jupiter brought up for you in 2015/2016 are now jelling into Desires + Action = Mindfully different now in 2017? Hhhmm...let me think on that for a bit...
• And lastly - the Sun/Moon as the New Moon phase - the Sun rules our vitality and Soul Self, taking creative action with fun and play mixed in. The Moon rules our daily habits, our Emotional Body, and those funky Ego-Mind fears of change. The Moon cycle brings forth opportunity to change those daily habits that are getting out of hand, not healthy (haven't been for a while?) and is it TIME yet to make those changes for the better? The Moon rules Cancer and the 4th House of home, mothering/fathering, nurturing Self, then Others. How you were nurtured as a child will show up later in life in daily habits of how you now nurture yourself. Most women I know do for others before doing for Self, especially caregivers. With all of these planetary players here to assist us, perhaps it is TIME to make some much-needed changes in your life? Work-wise? Health-wise? Routines can grow old and comfortable like old runners and jeans. Do they still suit you? Is it time for something different that reflects who you are and where you're at, MINDFULLY, now? Think on this for a bit, and, BE Honest with yourself.

Virgo rules the following within the physical body (according to Jan Spiller's New Moon Astrology):

• Digestion and Assimilation -  heartburn/indigestion can mean you're way offside with your heart's true desires! The physical body is always sending you messages - are you listening?
• Bowels and intestines - is it any wonder why folks do a cleanse this time of year? Clean out those pipes in time for the long, cold winter ahead. 
• Constipation and Diarrhea - here fear from the Ego-mind comes into play. 'Scared shitless' or 'running away with fear' come to mind. No pun intended. Listen to the messages your physical body is sending you.
• The Solar Plexus Chakra - didn't we just undergo a Venus-Moon Star Gate to let go of distortions within this chakra? I love how planetary cycles interact with one another, setting us up for another round of dealing with issues that we may have flunked out on or missed previously! Cool, eh? Read my previous post about the "Venus-Moon Star Gate in Leo" to review all the lessons this chakra brings us to deal with. Now you can see how perfectionism plays a role within the Solar Plexus Chakra re: the Ego-mind's need for control and power! Just saying...

Okay, back to the chart for this New Moon cycle, Mercury is exactly opposite Neptune, ruler of Pisces, within Pisces! Interesting that both planetary rulers are opposing each other here! Mucho energy to bring the themes of Virgo (see above) AND the themes of Pisces - illusion/delusion vs. reality? Plus emotional escapism/distraction/addictive behaviours, and that old fav - the Drama Triangle of role-playing: Victim and/or Rescue Me/Rescuer and/or Persecution/Bullying. Which is better? Reality or illusion/delusion? For you?

These themes will be loud and clear for all of us to see and hear, and heal the Shadow aspects of, if we choose to do so. On a higher note, Neptune helps us imagine and envision a better world for Self and Others, and brings forth a new reality based on higher spiritual mores. Drama is creative, colourful and magical! Yes please do NOT forget about the MAGIC everyone! BELIEVE and have FAITH that 'this too shall pass'! Do a Heart's Desire board - create a better daily habit routine - perfect that process at work, at play, at home - and remember to PLAY and have FUN while doing so!

A Moon Cycle of Eclipses and Mercury Rx!

Full Rainbow, Okotoks, AB 2017

Hi All! It's been a busy time for me - selling a house, moving out of Calgary, settling into a new space in Okotoks, Alberta! Love that we had a quick selling time - and move. Always a great sign that all is moving forward as it was meant to. I am glad to return to my Astrology practice. Thank you for your patience whilst I devoted my time and energy to other challenges.

This current Moon cycle has many twists and turns! Let's see how it's been unfolding so far:

• New Moon began Friday July 23rd at 00 degrees Leo 44' whereby both the Moon and Sun stood together at these celestial coordinates AND holding hands with Mars at 01 Leo 52'. Hence my theme for this Moon cycle is: "Heartfully taking Creative Action! If you don't feel it from the Heart - don't do it!" Leo rules the heart, and the back (supporting ourselves) and the Sun rules Leo! This Moon cycle is all about creating and shining our heart light out into the world around us, with fun and play, and ensuring our Inner Child comes along for the ride. Leo can be the King or Queen of the Mountain, wanting everyone else to DO what I DO. Drama King or Queen ensues if we're not listening to our inner self for what we truly NEED to DO for ourselves this cycle. Leo is fixed fire - taking creative action and dealing with the details yet stubbornly so - not going with the flow and coming up for air from time to time for fun and play!

• Mercury Rx (retrograde) Shadow timing began July 24th within the late degrees of LEO (!) and is currently moving through the mutable earth sign of Virgo - being of service, perfecting processes, and looking after the health of your physical body. Mercury rules Virgo, so there may be significant mental changes coming your way this Moon cycle if you've felt mentally blocked in deciding what program or regimen to get back into now. Virgo also rules our daily work and work environments. If there's too much distraction, noise, etc. getting in the way - what is it you need to decide upon, discuss and strategize on how to mentally move forward in these areas of your life now? The Mercury Rx timings always make us aware of how we are mentally getting in the way of ourselves. We learn information we didn't know we needed to know, before now. I love Astrology! The circle of 12 Houses in our natal charts shows the progress of the Moon (monthly) and the Sun (yearly) around it. As each luminary and fast-moving planet completes its journey and returns to where it began in our respective charts - we see how we've evolved since the last time that luminary/planet came by. What have you learned about yourself since the last time Mercury traveled through Virgo (July 31 - October 8, 2016? Where are you still struggling within the above-stated themes that Virgo brings into your awareness now? 

• The actual Mercury Rx timing begins August 13th at 11 degrees of Virgo 38' going BACK through the degrees it has already traveled through since July 24th! When a planet seemingly goes back over its orbit (Rx - retrograde) the usual forward-moving energy is now brought Inward - making it all very personal - up close and so personal we canna hide from the awareness and challenges of the WHY am I feeling this way? Whatever isn't working for you, mentally, will show itself, in spades! Be aware that Mercury rules how we think, what we think, how we communicate - with others and within to self (Inner Talk) - and relate our Self with Others in our life. Be aware that speaking up and standing up for Self (all that Leo!) is what we require to do now. You won't be able to move forward in your own life if you don't let others around you know what it is you NEED for you. We are experiencing a do-over right now. Another opportunity to speak up, converse, decide, learn, study and practice - via the Mental Body - all that we've been putting off doing before now. This time, we have Direct and forward-moving energy to help us with the direct ACTION (via this New Moon in Leo) to make positive decisions and have those forthright conversations, heartfully, that need to be had. And remember: Expect the Unexpected during Mercury Rx! Plans and ideas will change. New information and decisions will come into play. Do you see how the Mercury Rx timing brings forth 2 more opportunities to revisit conversations, mental thinking, decision-making, and Inner Talk scenarios?! Take advantage of all of this for your inner growth. The Sun assists with Heartfelt Action during this Moon cycle, while the Moon assists with your Emotional Body's feelings and intuitive insights along the way. Those of us who have Pisces / Virgo Sun's, Moon's and/or Rising Signs, will be especially affected. Sagittarius and Gemini Sun's, Moon's or Rising Signs will also find some stress and tension to make changes mentally too. We experience two eclipse seasons per year - the first set occurred February 10th (Lunar Eclipse in LEO during the Full Moon) and 26th (Solar Eclipse in PISCES during the New Moon). A Lunar Eclipse brings forth the Emotional Body's needs to express itself via feelings and intuition, receiving from others - mainly our Inner Feminine energies at play. A Solar Eclipse brings forth the Inner Masculine energies - to take action, assert self, be creative in some way, to give to others. Take note of what occurs in your life just before/during/after each eclipse. The Eclipse themes highly continue for 6 months after, and for up to 3 years thereafter. Yet another opportunity for Self/Soul Growth. Here's when the next eclipse set will occur and their themes to take note:

• Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse August 7, 2017 at 12:11p MDT at the celestial coordinates of 15 degrees of Aquarius and 25'. At each Full Moon we experience some sort of AHA moment of understanding self in some regard - seeing what has unfolded within our respective lives since New Moon (July 23rd in LEO) amid the themes I related earlier -  heartfelt creative action, supporting self along the way. The Lunar Eclipse will make us EMOTIONALLY aware of how well we learned what we needed to learn, and includes following our intuition. Aquarius brings forth an aspect of knowing what it is our Future Self requires and wants for us NOW - and being a fixed air sign, much to talk about with friends and groups and peers! Plans for the future - with others - in community. As true authentic selves, within community - we look for what it is we truly require to BE ME, AND ask for assistance within our community AND give back to community. This is a central theme for the New Age of Aquarius - BE authentic to self, connect with community, and together we will move forward, each on our respective true life paths. Interestingly, Leo is the opposite sign to Aquarius, and brings forth the creativity, fun and play, leadership and Inner Child themes that assist with all the Aquarius themes. We cannot BE one without the Other. How do you create an AND between both? This is the challenge!

• New Moon/Solar Eclipse August 21, 2017 at 12:30p MDT at the celestial coordinates of 28 degrees of Leo 53'. Another New Moon brings unrealized potential of soul/inner growth - which we are 'in the dark' about until the following Full Moon phase. This eclipse brings forth ACTION of some sort that we've emotionally been working on within this current Moon cycle begun July 23rd! Ensure you are consciously AWARE of how you feel, intuit and wish to receive during this Moon cycle and will then BUILD upon with Heartfelt Creative ACTION right away as the upcoming New Moon begins August 21st! NB: this Solar Eclipse is a TOTAL Eclipse that will be seen from most parts of North America! Very much bringing forth HEART to those living in economic straits and coping with interesting political changes and leadership personalities. LEO rules leadership - is it coming from the Heart or from Ego? Who do you wish to follow? Work as a team or dictated to? Here is where we 'see' in the outer world what we each are working on in our respective inner worlds. As the Shadow of this eclipse passes over North America - what hidden fears and anxiety will be brought up and out of your heart to heal and love through? Interestingly, the Balsamic Moon phase of the previous Moon cycle (the last Moon phase for that cycle that begun July 19th at 9:11p MDT within the celestial coordinates of 12 degrees of Gemini 39') when Venus and the Moon came together to create the latest Venus Star Gate via the 5th Chakra - the HEART Chakra! How cool is this? Another reason why I love love love Astrology! Previous cycles of the luminaries/planets set us up for succeeding cycles - all in aid of assisting each of us on our onward/inner soul path journey here on Earth! So cool considering the CURRENT Moon cycle theme is LEO too! And the next New Moon/Solar Eclipse is LEO too! 

Venus, our Desire Body, is assisting us to open our hearts, while the Balsamic Moon (all about LETTING GO of distortions we've hung onto, until now) brings opportunities to let go, emotionally! For those of you who have been following the course of the current Venus Star Journey from Aries, we journey through all 7 Chakras from Balsamic Moon phase to Balsamic Moon phase. We've been descending into the Underworld via Venus and the Moon since March 2017, healing distortions, so far, within our respective Crown, Brow/3rd Eye and Throat Chakras. A Moon Cycle of Eclipses and Mercury Rx!

Hi All! It's been a busy time for me - selling a house, moving out of Calgary, settling into a new space in Okotoks, Alberta! Love that we had a quick selling time - and move. Always a great sign that all is moving forward as it was meant to. I am glad to return to my Astrology practice. Thank you for your patience whilst I devoted my time and energy to other challenges.

This current Moon cycle has many twists and turns! Let's see how it's been unfolding so far:

• New Moon began Friday July 23rd at 00 degrees Leo 44' whereby both the Moon and Sun stood together at these celestial coordinates AND holding hands with Mars at 01 Leo 52'. Hence my theme for this Moon cycle is: "Heartfully taking Creative Action! If you don't feel it from the Heart - don't do it!" Leo rules the heart, and the back (supporting ourselves) and the Sun rules Leo! This Moon cycle is all about creating and shining our heart light out into the world around us, with fun and play, and ensuring our Inner Child comes along for the ride. Leo can be the King or Queen of the Mountain, wanting everyone else to DO what I DO. Drama King or Queen ensues if we're not listening to our inner self for what we truly NEED to DO for ourselves this cycle. Leo is fixed fire - taking creative action and dealing with the details yet stubbornly so - not going with the flow and coming up for air from time to time for fun and play!

• Mercury Rx (retrograde) Shadow timing began July 24th within the late degrees of LEO (!) and is currently moving through the mutable earth sign of Virgo - being of service, perfecting processes, and looking after the health of your physical body. Mercury rules Virgo, so there may be significant mental changes coming your way this Moon cycle if you've felt mentally blocked in deciding what program or regimen to get back into now. Virgo also rules our daily work and work environments. If there's too much distraction, noise, etc. getting in the way - what is it you need to decide upon, discuss and strategize on how to mentally move forward in these areas of your life now? The Mercury Rx timings always make us aware of how we are mentally getting in the way of ourselves. We learn information we didn't know we needed to know, before now. I love Astrology! The circle of 12 Houses in our natal charts shows the progress of the Moon (monthly) and the Sun (yearly) around it. As each luminary and fast-moving planet completes its journey and returns to where it began in our respective charts - we see how we've evolved since the last time that luminary/planet came by. What have you learned about yourself since the last time Mercury traveled through Virgo (July 31 - October 8, 2016? Where are you still struggling within the above-stated themes that Virgo brings into your awareness now? 

• The actual Mercury Rx timing begins August 13th at 11 degrees of Virgo 38' going BACK through the degrees it has already traveled through since July 24th! When a planet seemingly goes back over its orbit (Rx - retrograde) the usual forward-moving energy is now brought Inward - making it all very personal - up close and so personal we canna hide from the awareness and challenges of the WHY am I feeling this way? Whatever isn't working for you, mentally, will show itself, in spades! Be aware that Mercury rules how we think, what we think, how we communicate - with others and within to self (Inner Talk) - and relate our Self with Others in our life. Be aware that speaking up and standing up for Self (all that Leo!) is what we require to do now. You won't be able to move forward in your own life if you don't let others around you know what it is you NEED for you. We are experiencing a do-over right now. Another opportunity to speak up, converse, decide, learn, study and practice - via the Mental Body - all that we've been putting off doing before now.
