Sunday, April 15th, 2018 at 7:57p MDT the Moon + Sun sit together in the sky as the New Moon at 26 degrees of Aries 02' holding hands with ERIS (!) to remind us this Moon cycle of what it is that we've been neglecting in our respective lives.

At the same time, this New Moon lineup sit at an angle to Jupiter at 21 degrees of Scorpio 06' Rx (retrograde) sensitizing and bringing the expansive energy deep Within to help us all Let GO of Old Patterns of Conditioning re power and control issues, emotional manipulation, Ego-self fears and trust issues! The Divine Plan is to help us move out of the Shadows into our Passionate natures - when was the last time you felt passionate about something? Really truly - when?

The New Moon lineup in the cardinal fire of Aries brings forth the archetypes of:

March Snowy Mountains

The Sun was shining here today in Southern Alberta! Yay! The mountains were awesome with their crevices outlining and shining brightly from all the white snow they've received this winter. Snow is melting AND snow is on the way yet again overnight into Monday (sigh...) and Tuesday...glad this weekend we had two days of Spring that was heartwarming and welcome.

Physically, Aries rules the following in the body:

• Head, face, scalp and brain
• Headaches and dizziness

Full Moon in Virgo: Let Go of Old Patterns of Conditioning!

This Full Moon, along with MORE SNOW FLURRIES here in southern Alberta (was that my outside voice?!) brought forth a deeper feeling of cabin fever AND "let's get to work to unearth old patterns of conditioning"!

March 1st, Thursday, at 5:51p MST the Moon sat opposite the Sun at 11 degrees of Virgo/Pisces 23', respectively, heralding the Full Moon phase during which something is ILLUMINATED within our lives. Something that was hidden in the dark before now that we were unaware of, relating to Self and how we wish to Serve.

Virgo is our mutable earth sign, flowing with change, creating change, physically and hands-on, yet also mentally - Virgo is ruled by our planet Mercury, all about how we think, use our brain power, learn, adapt mentally, communicate and it's our Self Talk! How we speak, internally, with/to ourselves.

The Full Moon's Virgo themes ILLUMINATED any, or all, of the following:

• HOW we wish to BE of Service out in the world via our daily work - IS it working for us, this job we're in right now? If not, why not? What are your next steps in this area of life? Our willingness to ADAPT to new service, knowing when it's time to leave a job or change a routine - this is Inner Wisdom of Service at its best.
• HOW we are looking after the health of our physical body - our diet, exercise program, healing needs, eating regimens - all are being examined now.
• PERFECTIONISM - be it processes within Self, at work, in the home/personal life - wherever Virgo resides in your birth chart is where this theme activates within your life to bring forth self-awareness. 
• Judgement / Critical Voice: here is where we judge others and self with our petty criticisms because the Ego-self is looking for Perfection! If we feel out of whack from Within, and don't take the time to check in with how we feel/think at the moment, then the Ego-self will go out of its way to blame others around us for making us feel, well, out of whack! No one has that power, however. Each person is in charge of HOW they feel, when they feel, and what they do with those feelings. Unacknowledged feelings don't go away - they recede, go into hiding, only to come flying out, unexpectedly, later when we least expect it. And the blaming, criticism and transference comes out to play again, and again, and again. Unless we stop, check Within to FEEL how we feel! Then THINK about how you're feeling, then feel, then think, and see what gems you become consciously aware of, from Within You. It all begins with you. WORRY is at play here too - not listening to your opposite sign, Pisces (where the Sun sits right now) of feelings, intuition, intuitive INsights - to have faith, believe IN your or someone's abilities, that this too shall pass - what ever THIS is. Worry creates blockages too, comes from fear, and therefore that Ego-self bringing forth illusory rabbit holes of self-sabotage.
• Organization: How and when we organize ourselves, life, home. From the physical to the spiritual. I find myself, when I've completed some Inner Space work emotionally and/or mentally and/or spiritually, physically shifting furniture or finding new ways to file away paperwork, finally DO the paperwork (!) or other To Dos that seemed completely an uphill battle to accomplish prior to that Inner Space work. Interesting how not doing the Inner Space work can block us from moving forward on something, just as easily as a physical blockage can!
• Discernment: here we use clear discrimination or critical thought to also clear blockages, move forward into whatever project or task needs organizing. Ruled by Mercury, this makes sense. We need the focus and at times, do analysis via those Pros/Cons lists/research to arrive at that which makes better sense before we take further action.
• Perfectionism: I want to address this again - here we USE perfectionism to bring order out of chaos - something I do quite naturally (and how I make my living, other than Astrology). Here these innate skills to ORGANIZE a space, event, people, paper, things - this is a positive use of Virgo's tendency to BE perfect! I have Virgo Rising, completely within my 1st House, therefore it is not only part of my outward personality, how I dress and present myself to others, it is also what I EMBODY (1st House is of the physical body). Therefore, whenever I am in a room I can physically FEEL when a physical thing is out of order or needs to be moved. I cannot settle down to concentrate unless I DO the physical thing to create order. Then my focus comes back to where I need it to be. Cool! How we do our processes at home/work - housework, homework, paperwork - whatever WORK process you are involved with - THIS is where we bring forth the innovation of perfecting HOW we do those processes. We can spend years doing the same old, same old habit/way of WORK, then one day, BHAM! we see our way through to a totally different, more efficient way! Cool! As in during a Full Moon in Virgo.
• PHYSICALLY: Virgo rules the following physical places in our bodies - bowels and intestines, constipation and diarrhea, digestion and assimilation, our Solar Plexus chakra (Empowerment vs power and control issues). Here during a Full Moon in Virgo our awareness will become more conscious of these areas - how well they are working Within the physical body. Is it time to increase veggie intake? Do a cleanse? See a doctor for a physical? If you are having issues  "digesting" something emotionally and/or mentally will affect your digestive system. As Within, So Without.

• The Full Moon in Virgo sits opposite the Sun in Pisces: the opposite sign to each other - and with the Sun is Juno (equality in relationships) + the Part of Fortune (where we find our Joy) + Neptune, ruler of Pisces (the Magic, Movies & Illusion of Earth School - are we dealing with illusion or reality? Escaping reality via our addictions/distractions? Belief in the MAGIC of feelings, intuition, and INsights as markers we're on the right path forward, in the NOW) + Mercury, ruler of Virgo (communication, thought, learning) + Venus (our Desire Body - what are my desires?) + Chiron (Spiritual Wound we carry to be healed this lifetime) - all in Pisces! Authenticity & Unresolved Issues From Your Past!

Today's New Moon/Solar Eclipse will occur today February 15, 2018 within 27 degrees of Aquarius 08' - our fixed air sign representing individuation aka how to BE your true authentic self as much as possible!

What has been extra ordinary for this first Eclipse Season of 2018 is the location of the Moon's Nodes with each Eclipse - the North Node in LEO conjunct the Total Lunar Eclipse of January 31st (heading in the direction our Soul Self beckons us into), and today's eclipse brings forth the South Node in AQUARIUS - talents and skills we bring from our past lives AND any unresolved issues to be healed NOW. Hence the taking Action of some regard at this time.

When the North Node is in LEO while the South Node is in AQUARIUS (from: North Node Astrology by Elizabeth Spring M.A.):

• Soul Purpose: to create loving connections with others in order to heal the sense of being the outsider or the persecuted one. By leaving behind harsh judgments of self or others, the idea now is to "Come in from the cold and become one of us." Join with the family of man, and make your presence felt. Be effective and compelling rather than "being right" and alone.
• Shadow: A deeply entrenched unconscious fear can entice you to be controlling, inflexible or stubborn especially in the little things of life. Practice forgiveness and letting your funny bone out. Authenticity & Unresolved Issues From Your Past!

Today's New Moon/Solar Eclipse will occur today February 15, 2018 within 27 degrees of Aquarius 08' - our fixed air sign representing individuation aka how to BE your true authentic self as much as possible!

Heartfelt Creative Courage & Support - Total Lunar Eclipse

In less than 6 hours from now, as I write this post, we will begin to experience a Total Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon - the first of two this year! During a Total Lunar Eclipse time is accelerated. We will emotionally undergo a 29-day Moon cycle during the 3.5 - 5 hours of this eclipse! Some of us will be sleeping, some of us awake. No matter what - Time will Accelerate your state of  emotional consciousness - be it coming from Love, Fear, Guilt, Shame, Joy, Peace and/or Light!

Almost Full Moon January 31, 2018

This eclipse will begin as of 3:15a MST Calgary time (Calgary lies 36' west of the MST zone), with the maximum eclipse occurring roughly at 5:53a MST Calgary time, and ends around 8:28a MST Calgary Time. Add or subtract 1 hour and 36' from this time if you are East or West of MST (or 2 hours 36' - you get the picture!).

This eclipse is located within the fixed fire sign of LEO - at 11 degrees of Leo 37' - hence bringing forth the themes of HEART, Courage, Creativity, and Support - Leo rules the heart, back and spine of our physical bodies. How are you heartfully supporting yourself, your creativity, and taking the courage to roar like a lion (assertively vs. aggressively) to SHINE your Light of You out into the world? Then Robert Kennedy JR - grandson of Robert Kennedy and great-nephew to JFK, former President of the US - made the Democratic Response speech. Interesting choice there. Third term Senator, aged 37, and is he the Democrat's future hope for the next Presidential race? Again, Time will tell...

Here in Canada - scandal now abounds from the ripple-effect of the US abuse of power scandals of the Fall of 2017...who says Canada isn't connected to the US? Or affected by their decisions, doctrines and trades? Time will tell yet again...

January 31st, 2018 holds the INspired Fire of the Creative Source of ALL - are you listening to your INspired creative heart? What is it you truly wish to create for your life these next 3.5 years? Why 3.5 years? An year for every hour of this Total Lunar Eclipse - give or take 45' each side.

Bring forth your heartfelt wishes and dreams, stir in some courage, stand tall, and take a Leap of Faith FORWARD into your life - and do it now, before you go to sleep - or get up early and meditate within the love, creativity, intuition, and FEEL your way forward into your future self. New Moon in Scorpio - Healing Emotional Depths!

Today, November 18, 2017, at 4:42 a.m. MST, the Sun and Moon, together, created the New Moon phase at 26 degrees of Scorpio 19' - and began a new Moon cycle within fixed water (ice) - Scorpio - our most private sign of the Zodiac!

This New Moon position (where the Sun + Moon reside within Scorpio) is connected with Chiron Rx (retrograde) at 26 degrees of Pisces 27', to lovingly HEAL more of the wounds we're collectively holding onto, emotionally, from the Old Age of Pisces. When planets are Rx the energy is directed inward, Within the Self, personalizing (as in bringing us face-to-face) with where, in this scenario of Chiron in Pisces, we're still playing the old Drama Triangle roles of either:

• Victim/victimization
• Rescuer/Rescue Me
• Bully/Persecutor

Or a combination of any/all three roles! Be aware of where you continue to harbour deep-set fears (Scorpio) that keep you in any one of, or all of, these roles from the Drama Triangle! This current Moon cycle brings forth further conscious emotional awareness for each of us. Anger is buried fear. Projection is manipulation, trying to make your fears someone else's. Fear is an illusion the Ego brings forth, tricking us to believe our world is being threatened from Without in some regard. Is it, truly? What does this trigger reaction truly mean for you?

Scorpio rules the following themes:

• Power and Control Issues - here the Ego-self hides and resides, doggedly clinging to keep the status quo - safe and secure within the illusion of NO change, leave things as they are, no need to rock the boat people! Ego's deep-seated fears of everything that threatens (seemingly) Ego's view of how life should be. The key here is to move from power and control into Empowerment! We learn this through the process of attracting people, situations, circumstances and relationships that bring up and out of us that which we still FEEL the need to control - no matter what! Look closely to 'see' what is being triggered Within, emotionally, that causes emotional upsets, fear, the need to Fight or take Flight (escape, run away, hide). 
• I find it fascinating that some of the JFK assassination files have recently been released - long held secrets buried for over 50 years. Jupiter is in Scorpio for the next year, expanding our current tightly-held boundaries created out of fear, power and control needs, to allow each of us the opportunity let go of our long-held secrets! I wonder what else will be revealed? No matter how manipulative President Trump is currently being by putting off the release of ALL documents until early 2018, Jupiter will bring forth the call for change, loud and clear.
• Fear of Change - I've already addressed this. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto and he is the ruler of this Moon cycle. Pluto is at 17 degrees of Capricorn 29' holding hands with Ceres at 19 degrees of Capricorn 30' - together they bring forth the transformation (Pluto) of how we nurture self then others (Ceres) - did we learn it via power and control struggles from our parents and siblings? Can we change HOW we do change now, via EMPOWERMENT instead? Create a win-win for ALL involved? Forgiveness, of self and others, is key. Compassion is required too - of self and others. We each are doing the BEST we possibly can, at ANY given moment in time! Less judgement and criticism; MORE love, acceptance and forgiveness is required now.
• Skills to use during Crisis situations -  here's where our compulsions and obsessions come out to play! Living on the edge, extreme risks to gain power (of any kind). Okay to use when in a REAL crisis (life or death) however, these days, our Ego-self seems to believe it is in CONSTANT crisis, hence the compulsion/obsession within society with the need for power (see the Bully and/or Persecutor role playing out here?) at any cost. Drink as much caffeine-oriented beverages as you can to keep yourself revved up and "on edge" is one extreme example. Ready for combat sir! - are you in the army or navy or air force? Daily? Truly? This is one way our Ego-self brings forth the Illusion of the need for MORE power. Consciously or unconsciously...
• Self-Mastery -  of the Ego-self, to bring forth MORE of the Higher Self/Divine Self as the guiding Light Within. Here's where more time spent in meditation, listening to your intuitive INsights, which in turn brings guidance to your True Best Next Steps, for You! The Ego-self will bring forth all sorts of reasons, excuses, fears, escapism, to prevent us from connecting Within to our Inner Wisdom - we each have access to this - that guiding Light of Wisdom. That Inner Voice that speaks to us when we feel lost, hurt, abandoned - you name it - the voice of reason, reassurance, love. Go ahead, listen to the Ego-self, follow the illusory road, OR have the inner strength to follow your intuitive Inner Wise Woman/Man, heartfully trusting in another way through the current crisis.
• Soul Mates and our Sexual Desires/Needs - here we feel our deepest emotional passions, needs, connections and FEARS of all of these! Scorpio is where we deeply connect with others within our life. We absorb each other on deep emotional levels - so much so we may lose ourselves completely. Co-dependence issues. Possible power and control issues, again. I'll be rescued by so-and-so if I only....here is yet another avenue we experience the empowerment of ME within the WE relationships. How well do you DO this?
• Shared Financial Partnerships - be they personal and/or business - shared money, resources and values. What each partner brings to the table within the relationship of partnership. Is it an equal connection or does one person hold the upper hand? How can you create a win-win here for the good of all? EMPOWERMENT...and again, triggers occur from the fear of money (lack consciousness) - where's the ROOT of this coming from?
• Misuse of Power - aka revenge, jealousy, harsh judgments, destructive urges (our addictions/obsessions) power struggles, suspicion and deep-seated feelings of guilt. All Shadow issues to true Empowerment. Trust issues abound with Scorpio. Trust in self, and in others. Being honest Within Self = being honest with Others. It all begins Within You.
• Physically, Scorpio rules - all our hidden places - rectum, colon, bladder, and organs of elimination, PMS and menstruation, sexual diseases and the male/female sexual organs. Here is where our deeply and long-held fears may manifest long-term, chronic illness and/or ailments, over time. If we take a look at the bigger picture, socially, we see how much of the current illness out in the world relates back to these areas of the body. All due to fear of being powerless in some regard, deep Within. Hhhmmm...Scorpio IS the most private sign of the zodiac, ice water. Here we can 'freeze' those feelings, emotions and fears at the time of crisis or trauma triggered events - and never go back to deal/heal them! Or, we can change all that, open the box or vault we've hidden them in, and begin to heal (remember, Chiron is already here, lovingly awaiting to assist you with this!).

The chart for this New Moon cycle holds TWO of the following planetary formations:

• Grand Trines: in Water and Fire - emotional + intuitive INsights easily accessed AND inspired creative Action. Ease and flow come about within a trine. Be aware of always taking action without checking Within when to stop, listen, take stock, before further action!

Fixed means dealing with all the details AND let go of the rigid fears to change along the way! "My way or the highway" feelings/mindsets will stall your forward motion. Here is the key to coping with all the emotional/fear stuff - keep asking yourself, "What IS the Higher Purpose with this issue for me? What IS my Higher Purpose within this process of Empowerment, Change and Letting Go? What IS my Ego-self's NEED for power and control truly covering? How do I get to the ROOT of it?"

New Moon in Scorpio - Healing Emotional Depths!

Today, November 18, 2017, at 4:42 a.m. MST, the Sun and Moon, together, created the New Moon phase at 26 degrees of Scorpio 19' - and began a new Moon cycle within fixed water (ice) - Scorpio - our most private sign of the Zodiac!

This New Moon position (where the Sun + Moon reside within Scorpio) is connected with Chiron Rx (retrograde) at 26 degrees of Pisces 27', to lovingly HEAL more of the wounds we're collectively holding onto, emotionally, from the Old Age of Pisces. When planets are Rx the energy is directed inward, Within the Self, personalizing (as in bringing us face-to-face) with where, in this scenario of Chiron in Pisces, we're still playing the old Drama Triangle roles of either:

• Victim/victimization
• Rescuer/Rescue Me
• Bully/Persecutor

Or a combination of any/all three roles! Be aware of where you continue to harbour deep-set fears (Scorpio) that keep you in any one of, or all of, these roles from the Drama Triangle! This current Moon cycle brings forth further conscious emotional awareness for each of us. Anger is buried fear. Projection is manipulation, trying to make your fears someone else's. Fear is an illusion the Ego brings forth, tricking us to believe our world is being threatened from Without in some regard. Is it, truly? What does this trigger reaction truly mean for you?

Scorpio rules the following themes:

• Power and Control Issues - here the Ego-self hides and resides, doggedly clinging to keep the status quo - safe and secure within the illusion of NO change, leave things as they are, no need to rock the boat people! Ego's deep-seated fears of everything that threatens (seemingly) Ego's view of how life should be. The key here is to move from power and control into Empowerment! We learn this through the process of attracting people, situations, circumstances and relationships that bring up and out of us that which we still FEEL the need to control - no matter what! Look closely to 'see' what is being triggered Within, emotionally, that causes emotional upsets, fear, the need to Fight or take Flight (escape, run away, hide). 
• I find it fascinating that some of the JFK assassination files have recently been released - long held secrets buried for over 50 years. Jupiter is in Scorpio for the next year, expanding our current tightly-held boundaries created out of fear, power and control needs, to allow each of us the opportunity let go of our long-held secrets! I wonder what else will be revealed? No matter how manipulative President Trump is currently being by putting off the release of ALL documents until early 2018, Jupiter will bring forth the call for change, loud and clear.
• Fear of Change - I've already addressed this. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto and he is the ruler of this Moon cycle. Pluto is at 17 degrees of Capricorn 29' holding hands with Ceres at 19 degrees of Capricorn 30' - together they bring forth the transformation (Pluto) of how we nurture self then others (Ceres) - did we learn it via power and control struggles from our parents and siblings? Can we change HOW we do change now, via EMPOWERMENT instead? Create a win-win for ALL involved? Forgiveness, of self and others, is key. Compassion is required too - of self and others. We each are doing the BEST we possibly can, at ANY given moment in time! Less judgement and criticism; MORE love, acceptance and forgiveness is required now.
• Skills to use during Crisis situations -  here's where our compulsions and obsessions come out to play! Living on the edge, extreme risks to gain power (of any kind). Okay to use when in a REAL crisis (life or death) however, these days, our Ego-self seems to believe it is in CONSTANT crisis, hence the compulsion/obsession within society with the need for power (see the Bully and/or Persecutor role playing out here?) at any cost. Drink as much caffeine-oriented beverages as you can to keep yourself revved up and "on edge" is one extreme example. Ready for combat sir! - are you in the army or navy or air force? Daily? Truly? This is one way our Ego-self brings forth the Illusion of the need for MORE power. Consciously or unconsciously...
• Self-Mastery -  of the Ego-self, to bring forth MORE of the Higher Self/Divine Self as the guiding Light Within. Here's where more time spent in meditation, listening to your intuitive INsights, which in turn brings guidance to your True Best Next Steps, for You! The Ego-self will bring forth all sorts of reasons, excuses, fears, escapism, to prevent us from connecting Within to our Inner Wisdom - we each have access to this - that guiding Light of Wisdom. That Inner Voice that speaks to us when we feel lost, hurt, abandoned - you name it - the voice of reason, reassurance, love. Go ahead, listen to the Ego-self, follow the illusory road, OR have the inner strength to follow your intuitive Inner Wise Woman/Man, heartfully trusting in another way through the current crisis.
• Soul Mates and our Sexual Desires/Needs - here we feel our deepest emotional passions, needs, connections and FEARS of all of these! Scorpio is where we deeply connect with others within our life. We absorb each other on deep emotional levels - so much so we may lose ourselves completely. Co-dependence issues. Possible power and control issues, again. I'll be rescued by so-and-so if I only....here is yet another avenue we experience the empowerment of ME within the WE relationships. How well do you DO this?
• Shared Financial Partnerships - be they personal and/or business - shared money, resources and values. What each partner brings to the table within the relationship of partnership. Is it an equal connection or does one person hold the upper hand? How can you create a win-win here for the good of all? EMPOWERMENT...and again, triggers occur from the fear of money (lack consciousness) - where's the ROOT of this coming from?
• Misuse of Power - aka revenge, jealousy, harsh judgments, destructive urges (our addictions/obsessions) power struggles, suspicion and deep-seated feelings of guilt. All Shadow issues to true Empowerment. Trust issues abound with Scorpio. Trust in self, and in others. Being honest Within Self = being honest with Others. It all begins Within You.
• Physically, Scorpio rules - all our hidden places - rectum, colon, bladder, and organs of elimination, PMS and menstruation, sexual diseases and the male/female sexual organs. Here is where our deeply and long-held fears may manifest long-term, chronic illness and/or ailments, over time. If we take a look at the bigger picture, socially, we see how much of the current illness out in the world relates back to these areas of the body. All due to fear of being powerless in some regard, deep Within. Hhhmmm...Scorpio IS the most private sign of the zodiac, ice water. Here we can 'freeze' those feelings, emotions and fears at the time of crisis or trauma triggered events - and never go back to deal/heal them! Or, we can change all that, open the box or vault we've hidden them in, and begin to heal (remember, Chiron is already here, lovingly awaiting to assist you with this!).

The chart for this New Moon cycle holds TWO of the following planetary formations:

• Grand Trines: in Water and Fire - emotional + intuitive INsights easily accessed AND inspired creative Action. Ease and flow come about within a trine. Listen to your intuitive hits of INsight that, in turn, manifest the INspired creative (as in 'out-of-the-box') action of your Next Steps! Be aware of wallowing within the emotional loop! Be aware of always taking action without checking Within when to stop, listen, take stock, before further action!
• Grand Squares: in the Cardinal and Fixed signs. Cardinal means initiating the NEW, bringing for Change! Fixed means dealing with all the details AND let go of the rigid fears to change along the way! "My way or the highway" feelings/mindsets will stall your forward motion. Stress and tension come about within squares. The louder it feels, the greater chance you'll have of consciously revealing and dealing WITH the Ego-self's resistance to CHANGE! NOTE: both the Sun and Moon (as New Moon) create the Scorpio portion of this Grand Fixed Square! It all stems from there...see where Scorpio resides in your chart - here's the probable ROOT to your Ego-self fears of change...

And the upcoming Mercury Rx timing (I'll write about this in another post) within Sagittarius brings forth yet another element of change in mindset whilst looking for our Higher Purpose during the emotional deep-water diving we'll be experiencing this Moon cycle! Here is the key to coping with all the emotional/fear stuff - keep asking yourself, "What IS the Higher Purpose with this issue for me? What IS my Higher Purpose within this process of Empowerment, Change and Letting Go? What IS my Ego-self's NEED for power and control truly covering? How do I get to the ROOT of it?"

Ask for Higher Guidance. Listen to your feelings and your intuition. Jupiter in Scorpio brings BOTH into extreme focus, LOUD and CLEAR, and in-your-face over this next year. This Moon cycle jump-starts us all into clearing out our blockages. You are NOT alone! We are in this together!

Venus-Moon Underworld Gate - Moving Deep Fears into Passion

November 14th, 2017 is when the Moon entered the Balsamic Moon phase, the last phase of each Moon cycle. Here is where we RELEASE, emotionally, that which needs to go, that which we have held onto far longer than needed. Here we CLEANSE ourselves, emotionally (and sometimes physically!) of the toxic thoughts, feelings, beliefs and fears that have been holding us back in some regard until now.

The Balsamic Moon phase occurred at 07 degrees of Libra 22' at 6:13 a.m. MST - Libra asks for renewed balance, peace and harmony Within and Without - within the WE - our relationships with others, and ourselves. A re-balancing act of release to make room for more light, love and beauty to enter Within and therefore Without. Like attracts Like - energetically if we are desperate for a relationship we'll attract desperation from others or attract nothing and no one. If we are at peace Within Self, content with our Inner and Outer lives, then we will attract more of the same. Whatever is going on Inside, we'll attract more of the same, from the Outside - via people, relationships, issues, situations. All in aid of awakening our awareness of where we sit Within ourselves, first.

The Moon met up with Venus, our Desire Body, as a Star Gate, on November 17th at 1:17 a.m. MST at 12 degrees of Scorpio 22'. We have successfully completed our descent into the Underworld, begun April 23rd, 2017, releasing distortions from each of our Chakras (Crown to Root) monthly during each Balsamic Moon phase along the way! The Root Chakra was our final challenge - all about our sense of stability, security, survival instincts. Considering the economic climate here in Alberta, and Calgary and area, these themes have truly hit home for most of us, connecting with our deepest and darkest Fears!

From THIS Balsamic Moon phase (November 17th) until early February 2018, Venus has disappeared from the skies and is considered to be in the Underworld. We are all now experiencing our respective Inner Death, dying in some regard as we release everything we thought we knew about our truest Desires. We are undergoing a mission - to be at our most vulnerable, naked and basic Self - to truly 'see' ourselves as we discern what we desire to hold onto to, and that which we desire to let go of.

Ask yourself: "What are MY True Desires, for ME? Are my Desires Truly MINE? Have I Desired what Others wanted for me, rather than what I wanted? How do I KNOW My True Desires are Mine? How do I unearth Mine?"

The answer to some of these questions can be found in the House of Life Experience within your natal chart that Scorpio resides within - at the 12th degree and 22nd' of Scorpio. This is the House from which your deepest-held fears to Desire your deepest passions this lifetime reside! Scorpio is the Scorpion, stinging self and/or others, out of fear, if we get too close to the Truth of the matter before our Ego-self is comfortable to look at it. I see Scorpio as digging deep, getting to the root of the matter, over and over and over again! And it takes as long as it takes - for each of us - we have our own process of Time and Belief and Letting Go. It takes as long as it takes. Period.

Assisting Venus this time is Jupiter (!) our planet of expansion beyond current boundaries set in place by our Ego-self. Jupiter brings forth LOUD and CLEAR messages, encounters, conversations, relationships and experiences to create AWARENESS of what it is we're afraid to 'see', let alone feel (Scorpio is the fixed deep water sign of the zodiac AND the MOST PRIVATE sign!). As we each experience our respective Underworlds, we will begin to understand that which has been a barrier or blockage, emotionally, so high and wide we were unable to 'see' or 'feel' past it. It's been deeply overwhelming in fact.

Navigating this Underworld phase:

• Scorpio brings forth our investigative/research abilities and skills. How far down are you willing to go to excavate your deepest-held fears/emotions/feelings that have buried your deepest desires?
• Deep Waters of Emotion - here it is most important that you seek support - professionally or otherwise - someone to help you navigate the mine-field of an emotional roller-coaster ride and tsunami wave(s) of fear/emotion/feeling along the way. 
• Breathe your way through this Inner Journey as you walk through it. The Ego-self will be very creative, along the way, to distract, resist, escape and/or run completely away from this journey. Be gentle with yourself and others. Whether we are conscious of it or not, we all undergo the cycles, together.
• Having Jupiter within Scorpio for the next year, we'll be assisted to keep on keeping on to find our Higher Truth - what's my purpose, why am I here, what do I have to offer? Again, after releasing the distortions we felt comfortable dealing with during the previous Balsamic Moon until this Balsamic Moon (all about our basic securities, safety and stability to feed, clothe and house ourselves) it is amazing timing to delve deeper, now, to see another perspective, another way to DO work, have a job that brings income that pays our way forward now, despite the current economic realities.
• Scorpio, ruled by Pluto, brings forth the death/rebirth cycle, over and over - the do-overs - to keep chipping away at those fears our Ego-self throws our way in the hope we give it all up! That power/control struggle Within that is mirrored Without from our key relationships, situations, events and experiences we draw to ourselves. 
• We are all learning to MASTER our respective Ego-self, to allow ourselves to work WITH our Higher Self/Future Self/Divine Self more by listening to our INTUITION and how we FEEL every step forward. What deep insights are you receiving? Are you spending time with them? Add it to your investigating To Do list, do the Inner research, dive deeper, listen closer, take action accordingly.
• Interestingly, Jupiter rules Sagittarius, the sign where the current Mercury Rx (retrograde) timing will occur! Here we will be MINDFUL (Mercury) of how and where we're seeking that Higher Purpose, who we communicate with about it, how we connect and partner with one another, out in the global arena. Both Jupiter and Sagittarius rule the 9th House of WE SPEAK - what are you saying, and what am I receiving from your message? The 9th House represents how we seek out the Higher Truth of what we BELIEVE to be True, for each of us. And we seek out Others to connect with, discuss between, decide on next steps from. We've been in the pre-Mercury Rx Shadow timing since November 14th until December 2nd, slowly coming up to the Rx phase. The actual Rx timing is December 3rd - 22nd. Thereafter, until January 10th, 2018, we experience the coming up and out of Mercury Rx as the post-Rx Shadow timing. I will write another post of more of the details soon.
• In the midst of all this, Venus is still with us, within the Underworld, showing us the way forward, casting off Desire that need to die, Within, psychically, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. It can be that complete if we are willing, ready and want to. Note: these Desires can be ones held onto from other lifetimes and past lives, not just dreams and wishes from this lifetime. Take note of this. 

Dive deep. Be truthful with yourself in order to be truthful with others. Let go. Allow room and space for your True Passions to pop on up, having been deeply buried under all that fear and need to control life/others etc., before now. We are only aware of what we're aware of at any given moment. Breathe. Love your Self (Venus = self love!) and give yourself at least one hug a day! See you on the other side!
