Full Moon in Scorpio: A Tale of 3 Yods (Fingers of God)...

Sunday, April 29th, 2018 at 6:58 pm MDT the Moon sat directly opposite the Sun at the celestial longitude of: 09 degrees of Scorpio 39' (09 degrees of Taurus 39') with the Sun holding hands with the Vertex - something Fated/Destined This Way Comes! And we experienced the Full Moon in Scorpio.

The Moon is our Emotional Body; the Sun, our Vital and Soul Body. Scorpio is fixed water; Taurus is fixed earth. Together they support one another, yet are separate - there is no amalgam here, not like the Pisces/Virgo mutable water/earth opposite signs that can become muddled and co-dependent at times. Unless there is a major flood situation...the fixed earth of Taurus will support the fixed ice of Scorpio.

This Full Moon brings forth Illumination into our deepest and closely held fears of the Ego-self. Here the full Unconscious Light of the Sun shines upon that which you have been hiding away in the dark, perhaps for eons. Scorpio brings forth the skills of research and investigation (Inner depths), with strong passionate emotions/fears and the need for privacy, space and peace and quiet. As a water sign, deep emotions and insights via intuition and signs gleaned from around you bring keys that help to unlock those deeply hidden fears. There can be AHA moments and leaps of faith to DO some action that goes against your usual inner grain.

The Full Moon chart showed 3, count 'em, 3 (!) YODs or Fingers of God, two of which connected with the Full Moon! This dynamic planetary formation asks that we Let Go of Old Patterns of Conditioning (aka habits , mindsets, heartfelt feelings that have hindered our way forward in some regard) as much as possible, between the planet at the pointed part of the Finger and the two planets/asteroids that create the base of the Finger, while figuring out how to allow these two base planets to WORK TOGETHER in ways they haven't done before now in your life. In doing so, we release old patterns of conditioning that have prevented us from moving forward, speeding up our forward direction a wee bit more! Let's take a peek, shall we?

YOD #1: Pointing to the Moon (our Emotional Body) in fixed water Scorpio are Venus (our Desire Body) sitting in mutable air Gemini and Mercury (our Mental Body) sitting in cardinal fire Aries:

• Our Emotional Body has been filled with deeply-held fears, hiding our truest expression of passion and even to find our true passion. 
• Our Desire Body wants to push through these fears, no matter how daunting this action seems to be, and 
• Needs the assistance of our Mental Body - where the Ego-self can sit in judgement, restriction and illusion, and yes, FEAR! - to mentally allow these desires to be freed from the ice they've been frozen Within for how long now? Do you have the courage to change your mind (Mental Body) in order to allow that which you desire for your life and yourself to work together?
• Venus in Gemini is the networking guru, collecting data and sharing it along the way - like a fairy or Merlin using his wand to shower us with knowledge gained through others. 
• Mercury in Aries (which we've lived with since March 6th just before the Mercury pre-Retrograde Shadow timing began) brings forth the need for IMMEDIATE ACTION NOW (!) do you feel the impatience? To create instinctual change like a Warrior, Explorer and/or Pioneer within your life, mentally! Clearing away the chains of fear that have bound you mentally from tackling whatever project or problem or quest that has sat before you that seemed so daunting, until now...how many times, since March, have you CHANGED YOUR MIND about a decision you thought you'd already made? Vacillating back and forth and back and forth wondering if you'd ever get through ALL the mental fears and anguish to create something NEW? Within Your Life? Could be you were hiding Within your Darkness all this time, unconscious of this process acting itself out. Are you conscious about it now?

YOD #2: Points to Venus (our Desire Body) in mutable air Gemini, from the Moon (our Emotional Body) in fixed water Scorpio and Saturn Rx (earthly structures/restrictions/constrictions) in cardinal earth Capricorn:

• Here, our Desire Body is chock-full of ideas, thoughts and the need to discuss it all! Share it all! Who can we go to? Perhaps it is also about needing to LEARN something new? Like a HUGE whiteboard - we need to put it all down, map it all out somehow to 'see' our next steps forward within the Desires of what we want for this life, at this time and space.
• Our Emotional Body can be holding us back, literally and figuratively, due to extreme emotional fear of meeting up with our truest passion! What's been holding you back? What's been frozen in Time for you? Scorpio is the ice version of water in Astrology.
• Current structures/goals/plans you've put in place within your life could also be getting in the way. Is it time to remove them, perhaps tear them down a few feet/yards or completely? Like ripping off that band-aid - all at once or slowly over Time. Saturn IS Father Time - it took Time to build up those walls that have hidden us from seeing out (and from being seen, from without!).
• Saturn Rx (retrograde) at the moment, brings forth INNER directed energy, personalizing it, sensitizing it, and wherever Saturn resides, so too does a major fear: Failure. Within Capricorn (the sign Saturn rules by the way) there could be some aspect of the following, for all of us (according to Liz Greene, in her book, Saturn: A New Look at an Old Devil): 

"We have chosen to place the birth date of Jesus under Capricorn, the densest of the earth signs and the most ambitious in the worldly sense, although there is no historical evidence that this birth date is appropriate. We have also chosen to place the birth date of Mary at precisely 15 degrees of Virgo, that most mundane and critical of signs. We also celebrate the birth date of the Buddha under Taurus, that slowest and most inflexible of signs. The entire esoteric concept of initiation is connected with Capricorn specifically and the earth signs in general because the initiate has not earned his/her initiation until he/she is able to apply the higher consciousness he/she has discovered to the body and the environment in which he/she functions as a personality. Only when the physical world is made a fitting garment or symbol of the inner spirit is his/her task complete. The mysteries of the duality of spirit and matter have occupied the thoughts of occultists and mystics throughout the ages, and alchemy and astrology in the form we know them were both outgrowths of this attempt to understand spirit in terms of matter through the law of correspondences. And finally we must consider that we exist on the earth intricately connected through the "etheric" or energy field around us to every other kingdom of nature. There is much that we do not understand about the nature of matter. It may be that when we are told in esoteric literature that earth is the final test of initiation for man/woman, there is also an equally valid rational or scientific law which describes the same truth - but we do not possess it yet.

Saturn in the earthy signs pertains, on the surface, to those problems and limitations which affect an individual through his/her bodily comfort, his/her ability to support and sustain him/herself, his/her capacity to find meaningful work which allows him/her a share in the ordering of his/her environment, and his/her ability to achieve responsibility or authority in those areas where he/she has shown competence and skill. This is the simplest interpretation of Saturn in earth, and it will generally be found that this interpretation is valid. It is unfortunate that we are given in the Old Testament the inference that man/woman was driven in labour as a result of original sin for we no longer believe that work can be a creative act. Even God, according to the same document, worked for six days to create the world. There is a basic need in each man/woman to feel him/herself useful, and this is connected with what is called "group consciousness" - the sensing of a unity which implies individual responsibility and the need for a contribution, according to ability, to the whole. This group consciousness has nothing to do with enforced contribution or with mass consciousness where the individual has no meaning in him/herself. There is also a basic need in man/woman to know that he/she has earned through his/her labours something permanent which is his/her unique accomplishment or possession. By it he/she establishes a sense of his/her worth to the group. This "something permanent" may be actual material reward. It may also be more abstruse: standards, values, talent, honour, service. Commerce and trade are as valid a form of communication between people as the written and spoken word, and money, as well as being a symbol of emotional independence, may also be a symbol of individual worth and of skills and services which are offered to others. Consequently, when we look to mythology, we find that Mercury, among his many rulerships, was the god of merchants as well as being the divine messenger, and presided in his inimitably suave fashion over the business deal.

It is possible that Saturn in one of the earthy signs offers an opportunity to learn about the deeper meaning of this element since the solution to the frustrations which he/she symbolizes when placed in earth rarely comes about through the applications of earthy tools. It would appear that the other three elements [air, fire and water] must be understood and integrated to form a tool effective enough to influence the apparent dead weight of earth and alleviate the pain of thwarted instinct."

• We bring forth the element of frozen water with the densest earth to work together while letting go of old patterns of conditioning to unfreeze our fears, bring forth earthly change in the direction of our truest desires, within air, and the duality of The Twins (Gemini). Here, if haven't completely let go of those old patterns of conditioning, we can BE of TWO MINDS, talking ourselves into/out of anything in a moment of Time. Be decisive, share your knowledge, and listen to the knowledge of others to carry you forth even further.

YOD #3: Points to Pluto (Empowerment vs. power and control over) in Capricorn (!) from Venus (our Desire Body) in Gemini, learning to work with Ceres (Nurturance) AND the North Node Rx (direction our Souls wish to head for further evolution) both within the fixed fire sign of LEO:

• After dealing with our Emotional Body and Desire Body's old patterns of conditioning in the first two Yods, we look for ways to create win-win outcomes, empowering one another despite our earthly fears, as we gather the information/data we desire from one another AND look for / give nurturance as we learn to evolve our Soul-self in the direction of the HEART. This, simply, is the ultimate goal. Cool! 
• With Leo, if we're coming from the heart, we're operating from our true heart's / soul's desire; if we're coming from the mind, there could be some Ego-self need to manipulate to create power and control over a situation, person or environment. For some, this means I'll nurture or go forward as long is there's something in it for me! Leo asks for heartfelt leadership within a team environment, with compassion. Then we ALL share the creative heart, and receive the love created accordingly.
• Ceres brings forth our need for nurturing people and situations and environments. Ceres reminds us of HOW we were nurtured as children and how/where we look for nurturance now as adults. Is it only mindful or heartfelt? Any changes required, perhaps due to a critical or abusive inner voice that keeps bullying us to stay within the dark? Something to let go of.

I realize this has been a LONG post - it surprised me too! As I wrote this post, we are still within the Full Moon phase. Liz Greene included the following quote from Alice A. Bailey, Esoteric Astrology creator, in the frontispiece of her book on Saturn. Take from it what you will:

"When the disciple knows Saturn as the God who offers opportunity and does not only feel him to be Deity who brings disaster, then he/she is on the path of discipleship in truth and in deed and not just theoretically."

Authenticity & Unresolved Issues From Your Past!

Today's New Moon/Solar Eclipse will occur today February 15, 2018 within 27 degrees of Aquarius 08' - our fixed air sign representing individuation aka how to BE your true authentic self as much as possible!

Most people think of Aquarius as being a Water sign due to the phrase associated with it: The Water Bearer. What the bearer is holding is a vessel filled with Future Knowledge - yours and mine and theirs. It pours down, via the Milky Way/Universe into our Solar System and on down to each of us. During the time of the Sun's journey through Aquarius (January 19th - February 18th in 2018) activating our birth charts, we all experience our own version of catching up to our Future Self's knowledge and bringing it forward to be used NOW for  Self and the good of all, within community.

Wherever we have Aquarius in the birth chart - this is where we seem to bring forth Innovation and Invention - creating something NEW that had not occurred to us before this moment in time. As we do so, we expand our uniqueness in the world, bringing forth that true authentic part of ourselves, to be seen and heard by others around us.

Today, during the New Moon phase, we experience BOTH the Moon and Sun at the same time - along with a Partial Solar Eclipse! Here the Sun's vital and active energy is at play, asking us to take some ACTION in regard to who we authentically and truly ARE from the Inside, Out! The Age of Aquarius is all about moving forward authentically within your own life AND being connected and a part of the community around you. You support community when they need you and community supports you when you need them, creating a win-win for the good of all.

The Partial Solar Eclipse begins at 11:56 a.m. MST with its first contact with Earth and is at its Greatest Eclipse as of 1:17 p.m. MST, ending approximately at 3:47 pm MST. The timing of the New Moon during this Eclipse is at 2:05 p.m. MST (2:41 p.m. Calgary time).

What has been extra ordinary for this first Eclipse Season of 2018 is the location of the Moon's Nodes with each Eclipse - the North Node in LEO conjunct the Total Lunar Eclipse of January 31st (heading in the direction our Soul Self beckons us into), and today's eclipse brings forth the South Node in AQUARIUS - talents and skills we bring from our past lives AND any unresolved issues to be healed NOW. Hence the taking Action of some regard at this time.

When the North Node is in LEO while the South Node is in AQUARIUS (from: North Node Astrology by Elizabeth Spring M.A.):

• Soul Purpose: to create loving connections with others in order to heal the sense of being the outsider or the persecuted one. By leaving behind harsh judgments of self or others, the idea now is to "Come in from the cold and become one of us." Join with the family of man, and make your presence felt. Be effective and compelling rather than "being right" and alone.
• Shadow: A deeply entrenched unconscious fear can entice you to be controlling, inflexible or stubborn especially in the little things of life. Practice forgiveness and letting your funny bone out. You could be a good comedian! Humour acknowledges the dark side of life with a detached and ironic perspective. A heartfelt humour that knows the pain of life can accept the full drama of it as well.

See where the possible unresolved issues from your past dovetail with the lack of fun and play and humour (LEO) in your life. Along with feeling like an ALIEN amongst the family of man - that I don't belong here - I see future knowledge that I cannot seem to share with others - there is no true connection - I am lonely - I am not part of this community/group where IS my group? (AQUARIUS). Any or all of these scenarios could be what is holding you back from authentically expressing your future knowledge by just BEING You, with Others, Now. Take a leap of Faith, with Courage, and express yourself, gently, slowly, with patience and care, with others in your local world and see the gifts of NOT KNOWING what the outcome will be from taking this risk in the first place - until you get there! Note there is a time-span of approximately 3.5 years moving forward from today that will be affected by how we conduct ourselves during this eclipse! Authenticity & Unresolved Issues From Your Past!

Today's New Moon/Solar Eclipse will occur today February 15, 2018 within 27 degrees of Aquarius 08' - our fixed air sign representing individuation aka how to BE your true authentic self as much as possible!

Most people think of Aquarius as being a Water sign due to the phrase associated with it: The Water Bearer. What the bearer is holding is a vessel filled with Future Knowledge - yours and mine and theirs. It pours down, via the Milky Way/Universe into our Solar System and on down to each of us. During the time of the Sun's journey through Aquarius (January 19th - February 18th in 2018) activating our birth charts, we all experience our own version of catching up to our Future Self's knowledge and bringing it forward to be used NOW for  Self and the good of all, within community.

Wherever we have Aquarius in the birth chart - this is where we seem to bring forth Innovation and Invention - creating something NEW that had not occurred to us before this moment in time. As we do so, we expand our uniqueness in the world, bringing forth that true authentic part of ourselves, to be seen and heard by others around us.

Today, during the New Moon phase, we experience BOTH the Moon and Sun at the same time - along with a Partial Solar Eclipse! Here the Sun's vital and active energy is at play, asking us to take some ACTION in regard to who we authentically and truly ARE from the Inside, Out! The Age of Aquarius is all about moving forward authentically within your own life AND being connected and a part of the community around you. You support community when they need you and community supports you when you need them, creating a win-win for the good of all.

The Partial Solar Eclipse begins at 11:56 a.m. MST with its first contact with Earth and is at its Greatest Eclipse as of 1:17 p.m. MST, ending approximately at 3:47 pm MST. The timing of the New Moon during this Eclipse is at 2:05 p.m. MST (2:41 p.m. Calgary time).

What has been extra ordinary for this first Eclipse Season of 2018 is the location of the Moon's Nodes with each Eclipse - the North Node in LEO conjunct the Total Lunar Eclipse of January 31st (heading in the direction our Soul Self beckons us into), and today's eclipse brings forth the South Node in AQUARIUS - talents and skills we bring from our past lives AND any unresolved issues to be healed NOW. Hence the taking Action of some regard at this time.

When the North Node is in LEO while the South Node is in AQUARIUS (from: North Node Astrology by Elizabeth Spring M.A.):

• Soul Purpose: to create loving connections with others in order to heal the sense of being the outsider or the persecuted one. By leaving behind harsh judgments of self or others, the idea now is to "Come in from the cold and become one of us." Join with the family of man, and make your presence felt. Be effective and compelling rather than "being right" and alone.
• Shadow: A deeply entrenched unconscious fear can entice you to be controlling, inflexible or stubborn especially in the little things of life. Practice forgiveness and letting your funny bone out. You could be a good comedian! Humour acknowledges the dark side of life with a detached and ironic perspective. A heartfelt humour that knows the pain of life can accept the full drama of it as well.

See where the possible unresolved issues from your past dovetail with the lack of fun and play and humour (LEO) in your life. Along with feeling like an ALIEN amongst the family of man - that I don't belong here - I see future knowledge that I cannot seem to share with others - there is no true connection - I am lonely - I am not part of this community/group where IS my group? (AQUARIUS). Any or all of these scenarios could be what is holding you back from authentically expressing your future knowledge by just BEING You, with Others, Now. Heartfelt Creative Courage & Support - Total Lunar Eclipse

In less than 6 hours from now, as I write this post, we will begin to experience a Total Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon - the first of two this year! During a Total Lunar Eclipse time is accelerated. We will emotionally undergo a 29-day Moon cycle during the 3.5 - 5 hours of this eclipse! Some of us will be sleeping, some of us awake. No matter what - Time will Accelerate your state of  emotional consciousness - be it coming from Love, Fear, Guilt, Shame, Joy, Peace and/or Light!

Almost Full Moon January 31, 2018

This eclipse will begin as of 3:15a MST Calgary time (Calgary lies 36' west of the MST zone), with the maximum eclipse occurring roughly at 5:53a MST Calgary time, and ends around 8:28a MST Calgary Time. Add or subtract 1 hour and 36' from this time if you are East or West of MST (or 2 hours 36' - you get the picture!).

This eclipse is located within the fixed fire sign of LEO - at 11 degrees of Leo 37' - hence bringing forth the themes of HEART, Courage, Creativity, and Support - Leo rules the heart, back and spine of our physical bodies. How are you heartfully supporting yourself, your creativity, and taking the courage to roar like a lion (assertively vs. aggressively) to SHINE your Light of You out into the world? Then Robert Kennedy JR - grandson of Robert Kennedy and great-nephew to JFK, former President of the US - made the Democratic Response speech. Interesting choice there. Third term Senator, aged 37, and is he the Democrat's future hope for the next Presidential race? Again, Time will tell...

Here in Canada - scandal now abounds from the ripple-effect of the US abuse of power scandals of the Fall of 2017...who says Canada isn't connected to the US? Or affected by their decisions, doctrines and trades? Time will tell yet again...

January 31st, 2018 holds the INspired Fire of the Creative Source of ALL - are you listening to your INspired creative heart? What is it you truly wish to create for your life these next 3.5 years? Why 3.5 years? An year for every hour of this Total Lunar Eclipse - give or take 45' each side.

Bring forth your heartfelt wishes and dreams, stir in some courage, stand tall, and take a Leap of Faith FORWARD into your life - and do it now, before you go to sleep - or get up early and meditate within the love, creativity, intuition, and FEEL your way forward into your future self. Venus-Moon Star Gate in LEO September 16, 2017

Venus is the planet of desires, our Desire Body, and she teaches us about self-reliance within partnerships and relationships. It all starts within you, before you attract the people, events and circumstances outside of you that bring healing, self-awareness and self-love amidst challenges, Ego-mind resistance and drama. We all undergo a process of Letting GO of something that is attached to our Emotional Body during the Balsamic Moon phase, the last phase of every Moon cycle. Each New Moon phase heralds a totally NEW Moon cycle, and brings with it a new theme for us to uncover, explore, heal and then let go of by the Balsamic Moon phase. Cool, isn't it? A monthly emotional rejuvenation plan - who knew?

Double Rainbow 2017

Each monthly meeting of the Moon and Venus creates a Star Gate of Opportunity to cleanse and clear one of our Chakras (those energy centres located along our spine). While Venus is a Morning Star (her Star journey descent into the Underworld - see my post of Inanna's Journey) we humans are able to throw off as many distortions as we individually will allow from each chakra's gate. Talk about energetic cleansing, all on an emotional level!

Since April 23, 2017, we've collectively, from one Balsamic Moon phase to the next, been healing distortions within our:

• Crown Chakra - April 23rd, began removal of the Crown of Authority;
• 3rd Eye Chakra - May 22nd, began removal of the Royal Staff of Perception;
• Throat Chakra - June 20th, began removal of the Necklace of Communication; 
• Heart Chakra - July 20th, began removal of the Breast Plate of Compassion;
• Solar Plexus Chakra - August 18th, began removal of the Ring of Personal Power.

Previous Venus-Moon Star Gate within Solar Plexus Chakra, just completed:

From the August 18th Balsamic Moon phase in Cancer until September 16th at 10:34 a.m., when Venus and the Moon met in the sky, we all experienced letting go of distortions we've clung onto within our Solar Plexus Chakra, this lifetime and from previous lifetimes. Think back and remember what you experienced, emotionally, during this latest Balsamic Moon to Balsamic Moon time period. Anything stand out for you?

Cancer is the cardinal water sign and brings forth moodiness, sensitive feelings and family dynamics to induce the labour pains (!) of much-needed change. The Moon rules Cancer, and together with Venus, initiated something NEW in how we handle our solar plexus chakra teachings.

Distortions you've been carrying within that Solar Plexus Chakra of yours have been let go of  now (fingers crossed?). Perhaps not ALL distortions - just the ones you were willing to heal at this time. The Solar Plexus Chakra is where we experience the following (according to The Chopra Center):

• Colour - is Yellow,
• Action - through Force, Strength, Control,
• Element -  is FIRE - expressed as anger, frustration, resentment, impatience OR love, creativity, joy and action,
• Main Issues - can be through Ego Identity, Personal Power, Ambitions/Goals,
• When Imbalanced - Suffer from low self-esteem, difficulty making decisions, anger or control issues, weak digestion due to digestive fire, AGNI blockages,
• When Blocked - Low self-esteem, lack of willpower, fear of rejection,
• Heal with RAM Mantra, Sanskrit name of Manipura, and the Affirmation: "I accept myself and am positively empowered. I do enough and I am enough."

Looking over this list, how did you do? Was Pandora's Box opened for you? Were you aware of the depth of Ego's need for control and power struggle issues during this process? How well were you able to nurture yourself through this Ego battle? Don't despair if you think you've missed this opportunity to heal. Whether we are consciously aware of this timing or not, we all underwent some aspect of healing our Solar Plexus Chakra on some level! Remember: the Moon travels through all 12 signs of the Zodiac every 28-29 days - and will pass through Cancer again. During the next Balsamic Moon to Balsamic Moon phase cycle (begun September 16, 2017 at 10:34 a.m. MDT) Venus and the Moon met within the fixed fire sign of LEO on September 17th at 6:34 p.m. MDT at 27 degrees of Leo 32', creating another Star Gate for us to pass through.

Now, between September 17th and October 16th, we'll collectively remove distortions we carry within our Sacral Chakra - as we take off our Ankle Bracelets of Creativity.

According to The Chopra Center, here's what we work on, personally, within the Sacral Chakra:

• Colour: is Orange;
• Action - Creativity, Emotional Identity;
• Element - is WATER - the energy that brings emotions, feelings, intuition and insights to the surface of our Emotional Body to be dealt with and shared;
• Main Issues - Emotional balance, Sexuality/Desire, Procreation;
• When Imbalanced - Emotional instability, creative blocks, fear of change, sexual dysfunction, depression and our addictions (!);
• When Blocked - Creative blocks, intimacy issues, inability to flow with change;
• Heal with VAM Mantra, Svadhisthana Sanskrit name, and use the Affirmation: "I am beautiful, creative and unique!"

Remember: all of us will experience our respective processes of Letting Go of our distortions within this chakra during this Balsamic Moon to Balsamic Moon phase cycle as we pass through this latest Venus-Moon Star Gate! Each of us is unique, and therefore each of us has our own unique process of self-awareness, coping, healing and letting go. For some it may seem easy-peasy - why? Could be they've already dealt with most of the imbalances and blockages within their Sacral Chakra before now. This doesn't mean they won't experience any struggles - it means they've dealt with more of the load before now. For some of us it could be quite a struggle.

I have become aware, these past several years, that each Moon cycle and planetary cycle seems to really make us CONSCIOUSLY AWARE of what we need to know and learn about ourselves, moving forward. It is getting louder and louder, "in your face" energy, events, people, situations and circumstances - almost instantly! Breathe and walk THROUGH the cycles is key. Distracting, escaping and ignoring will not help.

As an example, the Venus-Moon Star Gate journey through my Solar Plexus chakra was rough, with a lot of self-awareness and humbled acceptance that I have more work to do in this area of my life. This is what our life here on Earth is all about: self-awareness and what we CHOOSE to do with the awareness, and WHEN. This is why I love love love Astrology! It always helps me to understand the WHY of current challenges, and that there is a beginning and an end to each cycle of challenges.

Question is: do I hunker down and wait it out or do I consciously allow myself to HEAL myself through it? Considering current hurricane storms brewing down south - I'd rather do the emotional healing as much as my Ego-mind will allow! How about You?

• Element - is WATER - the energy that brings emotions, feelings, intuition and insights to the surface of our Emotional Body to be dealt with and shared;
• Main Issues - Emotional balance, Sexuality/Desire, Procreation;
• When Imbalanced - Emotional instability, creative blocks, fear of change, sexual dysfunction, depression and our addictions (!);
• When Blocked - Creative blocks, intimacy issues, inability to flow with change;
• Heal with VAM Mantra, Svadhisthana Sanskrit name, and use the Affirmation: "I am beautiful, creative and unique!"

Remember: all of us will experience our respective processes of Letting Go of our distortions within this chakra during this Balsamic Moon to Balsamic Moon phase cycle as we pass through this latest Venus-Moon Star Gate! Each of us is unique, and therefore each of us has our own unique process of self-awareness, coping, healing and letting go. For some it may seem easy-peasy - why? Could be they've already dealt with most of the imbalances and blockages within their Sacral Chakra before now. This doesn't mean they won't experience any struggles - it means they've dealt with more of the load before now. For some of us it could be quite a struggle.

I have become aware, these past several years, that each Moon cycle and planetary cycle seems to really make us CONSCIOUSLY AWARE of what we need to know and learn about ourselves, moving forward. It is getting louder and louder, "in your face" energy, events, people, situations and circumstances - almost instantly! Breathe and walk THROUGH the cycles is key. Distracting, escaping and ignoring will not help.

As an example, the Venus-Moon Star Gate journey through my Solar Plexus chakra was rough, with a lot of self-awareness and humbled acceptance that I have more work to do in this area of my life. This is what our life here on Earth is all about: self-awareness and what we CHOOSE to do with the awareness, and WHEN. This is why I love love love Astrology! It always helps me to understand the WHY of current challenges, and that there is a beginning and an end to each cycle of challenges.

Question is: do I hunker down and wait it out or do I consciously allow myself to HEAL myself through it? Considering current hurricane storms brewing down south - I'd rather do the emotional healing as much as my Ego-mind will allow! How about You?

Total Solar Eclipse/New Moon in LEO - August 21, 2017

At 12:30 p.m. MDT on Monday, August 21, 2017, North America will experience a TOTAL Solar Eclipse/New Moon at the celestial longitude of 28 degrees of Leo 53'. Both the Moon and Sun sit together within the same space in the sky. The New Moon phase begins at the same time we experience this Total Solar (Sun) eclipse.

LEO -fixed Fire

Each New Moon begins another NEW 28-29 day cycle of our Emotional Body's evolution. Here we cull through another layer of Ego-resistance, not  wanting to deal with emotions, feelings, following intuition or receiving insights and wisdom from our Higher Self/Future Self, nor changing daily habits that no longer support who you have evolved into. Every Moon cycle brings new awareness and consciousness of how we can get in the way of our Inner Self Growth potential, driven by the theme of the astrological sign the Moon and Sun come together within.

Leo is a fixed fire sign within our Zodiac pantheon of astrological characters. Fire is the element of creativity, taking action, being inSPIRed (or IN-SPIRIT) to take action to create - something - that is to be shared with others. The Sun rules Leo, and within the physical body, the heart and back. Are you following your heart's true desires in all ways? Are you supporting yourself (your back) along the way with self-love, nurturance, and standing up for your needs/views/values? How are your physical heart and back doing, by the way? Time to change up the diet, focus on exercise, nurture self in more physical ways? Perhaps go for the physical exam you've been putting off? The Sun portion of this New Moon/Total Solar Eclipse also rules our VITALITY - how energetic have you been feeling of late?

A TOTAL Solar Eclipse brings forth an opportunity to TAKE ACTION / CREATE - which will impact your life for the next 6 months to 3.5 years! Heartfully, take stock of all that you've been meaning to DO, yet haven't. I find it fascinating the events that occur in the days leading up to an eclipse, on the day of the eclipse, and a few days thereafter. How many people found themselves in urgent care/emergency with heart issues since last week? Or back issues?

When the moon passes directly between the Sun and Earth, a solar eclipse takes place. 

NEVER look at the sun during any type of solar eclipse! Looking at the sun is dangerous. 

It can damage your eyes.

Darkness seems to occur over the Sun's surface as a result of we earthlings looking up past the Moon to the Sun. Notice how quiet the animals, birds and human activity is just before and during an eclipse, as the sky darkens. The ancients thought this darkness brought forth our deeply-buried FEARS and unresolved issues - on Monday the scenario is in LEO and hence relates to the heart, loving, nurturing, shining, and creating something NEW within ACTION inspired by your SPIRIT. All through your HEART - chakra area + heart itself! What fears do you carry re Love, Loving, Creating, having Fun and Playing? Even ROMANCE comes into play here with Leo. When did you last date? How are you doing your Self-Love?

Along with your Back - how you support self, are supported by others, or not. Hence why it is most important to support SELF always, in all ways, first. What would you do if others aren't supportive in your unique journey forward? Do you drop your vision and dreams, or do you carry on, loving yourself, believing in your unique Life Purpose, despite opposition?

Mercury is still Rx (retrograde) until September 5th when it Stations Direct. The Inward-moving reflective energies of Mercury since August 13th bring opportunities to re-do, re-think, re-decide, etc. For tomorrow's Total Solar Eclipse/New Moon timing, Mercury has traveled back to 09 degrees of Virgo 06' of celestial longitude. Where in your birth chart is this planet of communication bringing forth new information regarding what you do for daily work and how you look after the health of your physical body? Interesting how our planets dovetail one another in support of current themes we humans have access to, if we so choose!

Looking at the New Moon/Total Solar Eclipse chart, I see both MARS (at 20 degrees of Leo 41') and the NORTH NODE (at 24 degrees of Leo 31') supporting the Moon/Sun! Mars wants to take either assertive or aggressive ACTION (depends how much DRAMA you instill) and the North Node of the Moon is our collective soul's way of beckoning us all into a NEW direction of behavior we may not be comfortable with.

Remember this: within the New Age of Aquarius, LEO is the opposite sign to Aquarius.

• LEO brings forth the childlike fun/play wishing to create and SHINE itself out into the world, with heart. The fixed fire element is in play here - with Love and Compassion!
• AQUARIUS brings forth the need to BE your uniquely individuated SELF, moving along your particular Life Path, Within Community, supported BY and giving back TO Community. We need one another - to SUPPORT one another along the way. The fixed air element is in play here - for the Higher Good of ALL.
• As always with oppositions, our goal is to Create an "AND" world - a balanced mix of Fire and Air - always, in all ways. Too much air will increase the fire; too much fire will snuff out the air. 

Speaking of oppositions, as we travel along with our hearts and backs this coming Moon cycle especially, the South Node of the Moon resides within Aquarius, sitting opposite the North Node. Here we'll deal with unresolved issues from our past (earlier this lifetime or from previous lifetimes) regarding how well we are living authentically Within Self, Within Community, sharing our talents within that community and relying on community when we require assistance in turn. You are not an island! Share and BE all that you truly are, every moment.

Both Uranus and Eris are also Rx within ARIES, that cardinal fire sign, lending loving support to all the LEO planetary players during this Total Solar Eclipse/New Moon! Here we can Expect the Unexpected while we stay true to our unique selves, AND Eris continues to bring forth changes in gender roles. Here the need to BE ME (Aries) is true for both women and men - with strength, courage, assertion - to Pioneer new avenues Within, Exploring these new Inner pathways to uncover NEW aspects of SELF not before revealed to ourselves, let alone to others.

Saturn, also Rx, within the mutable fire sign of Sagittarius at 21 degrees and 12', completes the FIRE GRAND TRINE or triangle that connects the Leo and Aries planetary players, lovingly reminding us to create GOALS, take RESPONSIBILITY for our own lives, AND to recognize what we are NOT responsible for, nor to whom! Very important, this. Saturn reflects Authority and authority figures (aka bosses) - and Sagittarius wants to connect OUT into the wide world. Long-distance travel in your near future? I will be travelling west to Vancouver Island just after Labour Day to work for a former employer, setting up her home office, finally, just the way SHE wants it! I love it!
